Here's a sampling of some houses on the market.
The Mahwah and Ramsey communities are home to more than 40,000 residents, which often can lead to some intriguing real estate options in the area.
Two of those listings are in Mahwah, including a mid-century modern home designed by internationally renowned architect Walter Kawecki entitled “Falling Brook” for its nature views. Located at 35 W. Deerhaven Road, the 1,426-square-foot home features a wrap-around deck, plenty of windows and redwood flooring to accentuate its three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It currently lists at $1.45 million.
In the same price range is the 5,051-square-foot French manor-style mansion at 30 Crocker Drive, highlighted by a large patio that overlooks the castle in Rio Vista. The mansion houses six bedrooms and five bathrooms and lists at $1.5 million.
Ramsey has its share of affluent houses on the market, as well. The single-family home at 383 Canterbury Road lists for $1.4 million and comes with five bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over 3,886 square feet, is one example.
Surrounding communities include Oakland, Franklin Lakes, Northern Highlands and Wyckoff.
